Coronavirus?? We gone?

My bosses recently approved laptops for our group so we can work from home but they won't arrive for probably a month or more. Gonna inquire about getting set up with remote desktop in the interim, basically taking control of my work desktop machine from my home laptop, which doesn't have the guts to run the work software.

Talked with my old State roommate in Northern CA last night.  Ironically, he has the flu...not the Corona variety (as far as he knows).  He use to play stocks a lot but been out of the market for years.  Jumped back in briefly yesterday hoping to take advantage of the Monday slump.  Made $40K.

I bought a reverse etf on the S&P. That and parked in cash.

Stopped to get my hair cut after work today (wanna look halfway decent if I end up in the hospital and/or croak). They were clueless about the news, saying they'd been watching Golden Girls or something all day.

Normally I'm with you but hearing it as this crisis unfolds was surreal man. He was talking authoritatively like he could help the audience. I actually rewound the call and listened again. He saw on a Lysol can that it kills corona virus and thought this was nothing new and just a bunch of BS.

Meh, we had a poster here who believed that Sandy Hook, the Chilean Mine collapse, the Holocaust, earthquakes, volcanoes, fires, and pretty much every bad thing that has ever happened was a hoax (in addition to the round earth being a hoax, of course).  Thinking that the Coronavirus is a hoax is pretty mild on the stupid scale, compared to the mental gymnastics and delusion needed to think that other nonsense.  In fact, the caller may very well be a full on conspiracy nut, if not Antine his very self!  I can guarantee you he thinks this is all a hoax.

It's hitting major professional sports. Reports are that an Italian soccer player, Daniele Rugani, has tested positive for Coronavirus. He plays for Juventus, the top team in Italy, and one of the top in the world. Cristiano Ronaldo is on the same team.

I didn’t but I’m up for a summary. I only listened to about twenty minutes. I stand by it and it’s rare I give Him credit but I think he’s giving good advice to a demographic that really needs to hear it.
