I like how we are the only team with balls enough to put the B1GCCG on the poster.
Oops, I just noticed the Hoosiers did that too.

I know this is frowned upon, but I think ours is pretty boring this year. Disappointing considering the options available to them after the season we had. Usually our marketing folks put out one of or the best in the conference, but this one looks very stock IMHO.
And small detail, but do we really need "open" dates on the calendar?

LOVE the red sky backdrop. That was nothing short of breathtaking. I agree that ours is kind of boring, but then again nothing says power like the two possible trophies a B1G team can win.
Since when the fvkk is Indiana wearing gold helmets?
So scUM is definitely going with the 2 QB system then, since they're both featured?

Notice how the the Iowa receivers have to be laying out for those passes? There's no QB on their poster. Trying to tell the world something?

They're the red and silver hydrochromes that they broke out last year.

I like how Minnesota's directly refers to the perpetual rebuild.

The only thing I don't like about ours is that the banner on the stadium clearly says "7 Big Ten Championships." Couldn't they have used a picture when they were showing a chocolate milk ad or something? Or just do me a solid and Photoshop in an 8?

is that what that face is? I guess I'm not up on my internet meme
anyway, I'm guessing the reason they look gold is that they are supposed to be reflecting the "creme" colored background of the poster.

What is frowned upon? This ain't the tRCMB, brah. After reading your post, I agree, more could have been done re: the season we had. The one last year with the spartan helmet was pretty cool, posted under.

I guess there's only so much you can do with a schedule poster, but I'm not a big fan of any of them. I guess IU made the best effort to do something unique, but it's a little too busy for my taste. UM's is a mess, and most of the rest fall on the safe side.
IMHO, MSU's most recent basketball poster was genius.

Are we even 100% that ours is the one we are going with? Seems to have a different style and might just be a poster somewhere around the football buildings.

I was wondering the same thing. The only pic I've seen so far is the one in this thread. No clue on what the source was.

Kind of off topic, but shouldn't MSU have revealed the student-section shirt options to vote on by now?

Saw it on eBay. Seller says they were given out at the Spring game. Guess it is possible that this isn't the official one.

I like ours. I like how it displays the trophy and the entire stadium. I usually feel like "badass player poses" are pretty lame, usually. Indiana' sis weird but Illinois' looks cool.

The Hoosiers schedule us for homecoming and now do this. Can you believe them??

Wait. Why does Michigan's say Ohio State and not Ohio?
I like how Maryland has to tell their fans which games are B1G games.

Hey Ages, welcome to the Swill! Glad you made it over!
Re: 2014 Big Ten football schedule posters
That eBay one I posted is pretty similar to what's in the football camps brochure at http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/msu/genrel/auto_pdf/2013-14/misc_non_event/14FootballCampBrochure.pdf
Still not sure if it's our actual poster for this year, but it at least looks like MSU did make it.

I got a different one at the spring game, that is odd. I got one that had those pictures that MSU Football tweets out. Like the game summary.

In that case, I'm 68% sure this was just one thrown together quickly to hand out at summer events and not the "official" poster that has been worked on by a team of the best graphic artist students on campus 24/7 in the bowels of Jenison since Jan. 2.

Re: 2014 Big Ten football schedule posters
I just noticed something that strongly suggests our poster isn't "official"; No sponsor logos.
Last year's football/basketball posters both have a Verizon logo on them. The dual-trophy poster doesn't have any sort of sponsor logo.
