How do you feel about the change where they play for home field? My question is if you are playing for hf why don't you play your stars longer?

Good question.  According to this article, "Twenty-three of the past 28 World Series have been won by teams with home-field advantage, with the exceptions being the 2008 Phillies, '06 Cardinals, '03 Marlins, 1999 Yankees and '92 Blue Jays."  So yeah, seems like it's a bit important.

Super disappointed with MLB and no tribute given to Tony Gwynn.  Usually they do things right when it comes to that sort of stuff, but he deserved something.

Never understood why they got so bent out of shape about the tie.  It's okay to have a tie in an exhibition game because, well, it's an exhibition game.  Heck, they do it in spring training.  10 innings and done.  All fans really want to see is their team's players get an appearance, cool moments like Jeter getting a standing O, and some of goofiness, like John Kruk turning his helmet backwards to face Randy Johnson.  Nobody really cares who wins, especially now with interleague play.  League bragging rights are thing of the way, way past.
