What do all the second amendment constitutional nuts that fought so hard for the right to buy seeds, hire landscapers and get a haircut think about this?

I can’t believe this isn’t a bigger deal. Maybe because it’s the weekend but everyone should stand against this.

Its not a bigger deal, because right now it is happening to people that aren't us. This is what all the Amendment 2 gun rights people were worried about happening, but since they don't like the people that it is happening to they don't see the irony that they are ok with it happening.

I bet Pantry is all for the kidnapping of US citizens by some type of law enforcement group that doesn't identify themselves.

More troubling to me is there is now evidence the Portland Police Department knew and assisted the armed, unidentified Homeland Security personnel rounding up specific people and group while remaining silent about ignoring agitators from the far right.

In a maybe unrelated incident, NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association union president Ed Mullins gave two interviews to FoxNews with a QAnon coffee cup in the background. When asked about it, he said neither interview was conducted in his office.

Saw in an associate press report that the Homeland Security personnel in Portland are renting their vans from Enterprise Rent-a Car.

Brings a whole new meaning to "Enterprise We'll pick you up!"

So Portland feels like something different. This week a bunch of mom’s turned out to take on the feds. Last night a bunch of vets turned out.

I’ve seen interviews with vets who were deployed, school teachers, nurses...this feels like it’s snowballing into something bigger and has serious potential to turn violent. I was watching footage of people trying to break through the fence to get at the court house and people launching fireworks at the feds behind the fence. We shall see where this goes.

Like clockwork Trump starts talking about his plan sending Federal law enforcement to Detroit and the Police Officers Association of Michigan has endorsed Trump for 2020 citing the lie Biden wants to "defund" police departments and as importantly Trump restarted giving local law enforcement surplus military gear.

Call me paranoid. I had misgivings about equiping police departments like we equip the military due to the different missions of police compared to the military. Looking at what's happening in Portland, I think the MI police see Trump (and his DOJ) giving them free reign to operate with impunity.
