I certainly can never get enough wood.

But Dendrobates is the Genus name for poison dart frogs. I did research on them in Panama.

Dendro, were you studying the chitrid fungus by chance? Or with folks who were? My grad labmates studied changes to the invert communities following chitrid moving through an area in Panama. Just wonder if you might have crossed paths with any of them.

Sort of. I didn’t study the fungus in particular, but the dwindling population densities due to the fungus. As well as habit loss, and then characterizations of the color morphs within the same species.

I went to Southern IL Carbondale and most of the research was out of Matt Whiles’ lab. Ring any bells? Small world.

No, I didn’t work with anyone else. It was just through MSU study abroad program. But I would have loved to have been a part of a bigger study back now.

Now that sounds like too much work. I’ve gotten lazy in my old age.

So Motown, this is not where you intended this thread to go huh? Dendro... 502811600

There's a curare for that.  A little epibatidine.  Emphasis on little.
