My baseball coma was only supposed to be for a season after the tigers decided to not be relevant for awhile but now Everytime I peak my head at baseball I get confused because I see so many players whose names I don’t even recognize a little bit. I know most of the players on the tigers but beyond that, if they weren’t good in 2014 then I don’t know who they are

Been watching them while in Michigan.

Two thoughts Hinch was a really good hire and this team is fun to watch. I tried during the start of the rebuild and I couldn’t do it. Get me around .480-.500 ball and I’ll watch.

Agree. It would be one thing if the tigers were in a pennant race. They have the chance to pack the Copa this weekend and the fans have a shot of witnessing history.

That said, I respect Miggy and Hinch for the decision. Just think it's the wrong one.

I don't know man. If I'm Chris Illitch I'm calling Hinch today and telling him to sit Miggy. Again, this team is not in a pennant race and the fans have been starving for something to be excited about for years. Pack the Copa, make money, give the fans something good.

Oh, I get it, this is the major leagues and you "play to win the game". Herm Edwards. However, the Tigers are in no pennant race, the fans have been pretty loyal this year too. It would absolutely be a sell out crowd. Athletic competition wise there is no reason, but fan appreciation and economically, maybe there is some reasons. But whatever. Pete Rose was playing every at bat as he was getting near Cobb and I think he either tied him or was one behind him on the road and still taking at bats. However, I think they were in the race still.
