Does DWags have it too easy?
Dude’s got a pro football team with a Super Bowl win and a pro hoops team on the verge of a title. Add to that a healthy, happy, good looking, educated family and a successful work life. It seems like the guy has been coasting for years.

Bucks won a title when DWags was in his 30s. I think this will be their 2nd title of his lifetime.

My padawan days are over. There’s still some minion left in me, but that’s about it.

You’d think, but no. A few weeks ago, DWags mentioned he hated the Brewers. Seems pretty fussy for someone living the high life.

I was 11 and it still makes me old. Side story I was listening to espn radio two weeks ago and they interviewed Eddie Ducette. He was the bucks radio guy back in the day that my brother and I listened to on the radio in manistee during those years. I was shocked he was still alive.

I once knew a guy who, similar to dwags, was a Lakers Yankees Duke fan. I couldn’t even take a guy who describes themselves that way seriously when he wanted to talk about sports

Yeah, Any Michigander not suffering with us has no soul.Travis of the Cosmos wrote:I once knew a guy who, similar to dwags, was a Lakers Yankees Duke fan. I couldn’t even take a guy who describes themselves that way seriously when he wanted to talk about sports
(my vibe from trailerpark um fans pre-dantonio's couple good years)
FTR, I saw a map of baseball fandom and Michigan was one of the only states where it was entirely their pro team... Most had neighboring teams or split teams.

But, as I"ve said, born in Milwaukee but by the grace of god became a Spartan. Bucks and Packers I was born into. Even when we moved to Manistee and cable wasn't a thing, we would get Green Bay and Miwaukee t.v. and radio stations way easier than we wouid get Grand Rapids stations. So, we still enjoyed the packers from Green Bay Channel 2 with our rabbit ears. Through my early teens we got to see the polka shows on channel 2 at 11 a.m. then the NFL pregame and then the Packers.
BY THE WAY, , I suffered for a long time with the packers in the 70's and 80's and early 90's. I've suffered with the bucks while my piston friends were enjoying some great championship teams.
I am a Tigers fan. I guess I can't trace the roots of it. But never was a brewer fan. Braves more than brewers probably because my dad.

I think he was also a Patriots fan, don’t quote me on that. Have you thought about maybe being different and going with the chiefs?

He’ll cheer for Duke until the replacement coach turns the team into mere mortals.
