Hight point is 6-6. They lost by 9 on the road at ND, lost by 35 on the road at NW, and have no standout wins. Guard John-Michael Wright leads the team in scoring and assists with 21ppg and 4apg. Wright appears to be a good perimeter shooter, averaging 42% from 3. That is good enough to make 15 crazy hero ball 3s. Forward Zach Austin averages 14ppg and 8rpg. On NYE, High Point will be at Kentucky so I guess they are doing a road trip in honor of Steve.

Northwestern is 8-2, but has no standout wins. Their two losses are to Providence and Wake Forest, and their one B10 win was a 6 point game against Maryland. High Point is the only common opponent between MSU and Northwestern. Northwestern has four players averaging doube-figure points, led by Pete Nance's 16ppg. Boo Buei will be a player to watch. He is not a great shooter but is averages 15ppg and 6apg.

Btw and fwiw... high point just built a new arena. It was built by Christman construction headquartered in Lansing... it's like a fucking casino... the guy who runs(?) the division was from Lansing and an MSU guy.
