Honestly, there is nothing like having your team in a pennant race at the end of august. Near or a bit over .500 does that. Not much to ask for.

Unlike football way fewer intentional injuries.

Unlike soccer wany more scoring.

Unlike basketball & hockey way less referee interference.

And enough games played to have a chance that the teams on top are the best teams.

I love baseball as well. I go to quite a few minor league games and a few major league games each year. There is nothing better than a day game with a light crowd and a hotdog and a barley pop in your hand. My biggest complaint is the creeping up of game times. I have no idea how to stop it without ruining the integrity of the game, but it’s getting ridiculous. 2 1/2 hours would be perfect.
Edit: The Tigers really need to get over 80 wins this year.

Sox right fielder had his back and glove directly on the wall. The ball hit the wall first, maybe 6" above the guy's glove. Then it hit the glove and the guy bobbled it a little before catching it. Initially was called a catch. Overturned on replay.

Started watching in the 8th with the Tigers down 3-1. Very exciting last couple innings.
