Signature Display Stylish Code

Surprisingly, signature display (whether or not you see everyone else's sig) is not a customizable feature at the user level. Currently, It looks like most people aren't using a signature.

Since there is no clear majority in the poll, here is Stylish code you can use to customize signature display:

Here is Stylish code to block sigs:

Code:: .signature_div {display: none;}

Here is Stylish code to block only the pics in the sig:

Code:: .signature_div img{display: none;}

If people like them, I'm cool with it. I probably won't use anything more than text, but maybe it's like the fancy schmancy uniforms... It might attract recruits.

I don't want restrictions but at work some sigs could be probably be problematic for some. I vote to keep them with image and text but wish there was a way to turn them on/off if it isn't too complicated to implement.

No one in particular, it's just what I've noticed on the old board. Lots of the same/similar images for people's signatures, just a different poster.

I shrunk them to as little as the site would allow me. Also, I'm going to respectfully disagree about the NSFW part. Sure, they're not wearing very many clothes, but they are clothed in the correct places...

Actually there sort of is. If you use adblock you can left click on photos in sigs and selectively block them. Not the most efficient thing.... but maybe there's a way to block part of the root name of all the sig images? I'll mess with it and see if I can do it. I might end up blocking the whole page.... cyclops

Oh yeah, forgot about Adblock being able to block things like random images. Will use that for sigs if they are annoying.

Yeah, so when I expand the block to include more of the address of the images it ends up blocking the whole page. If all the signatures had a unique root name that was only assigned to them though it would work.

Kind of a deal breaker for me. I can't post here from work if every other poster has scantily clad women as their sig and I can't turn them off.

Besides, it's just distracting and annoying looking at the same pictures over and over again.

It's cool I think I got them turned off now. Maybe the thread starter could include a brief explanation of how to use stylish and get them turned off though.

I guess I just have had some super cool employers then. I've never had an issue with some fine T&A showing up on my screen at work. I will censor, reluctantly, for the good of the group if that is so desired.

edit: At 5pm PT, if the images option is still in 3rd, I will take them down. If it has crept into 2nd, I leave them up until such time that the powers that be mandate I remove them. Deal?

I voted text only, but I honestly don't care if you leave them or not. I have a stylish for like 5 different sites. Not a big deal to simply hide pics using with another one.
