I tried following protocol a couple of years ago (I was grandfathered in for the first year) by emailing support@247 or whatever. After two weeks I didn't get a reply, so I had to get Trevor involved and he took care of it within a day or so.

After you cancel, make sure you watch your credit card closely. 247 has been known to autocharge even if you cancel.

you need to set up a trust for all your RCMB participation credits, then notify 247 that everything is in order. they'll confirm via bolt that the request has been received and that all the paperwork has been filed. check your PM inbox (even though it shows no new messages) and follow the.... OOPS! THAT'S NOT RIGHT!

Wait a few hours for the maintenance downtime to run its course and then start from the beginning.

I don't know if I'm smart or lucky, but I never gave 247 any account information. I paid for two years at the old rate and never responded to requests to reup. Maybe part of me saw the writing on the wall, but more likely I'm just paranoid and hate giving out my account info.

I had a similar issue with a different subscription service. I just called Capital One and asked for a new card with a new account number. Just be sure to tell them that you aren't closing the account, since it does help your credit to have a long standing open account on your credit history. They'll know exactly what you're talking about, and will take care of it right away.
