America is a stupid country. He's a millionaire because of that. Not that much unlike the modern christian conservative movement. They're influential and powerful because they take advantage of the millions of stupid, gullible folks out there who will believe what they're told, rather than investigate on their own via research and critical thinking skills.

It's a lawsuit, not a criminal case, and he has already lost the case. The jury is now deliberating how much he is supposed to pay. At least that's my understanding.

But he will likely face criminal charges for perjury. I mean, you have the judge saying he repeatedly lied under oath in the trial.
