What’s really fun is when you’re typing a post or reply and the box disappears and the screen drops down to show you an ad. This happens usually about every 10-15 seconds. And if you’re still typing when the box drops down — and if you’re not finished of course why wouldn’t you still be typing? — then you’re typing either on an ad that takes you to the website, or you’re typing on a link to another Swill thread. Sometimes, if you’re really lucky—what you’ve already typed gets wiped out when you hit the back arrow, like it did just now.
Thank goodness it’s not frustrating at all.

Yes, ads are an issue on mobile. They can be very obtrusive at times, as tGreenWay wrote. Not an issue on desktop at all, due to ad blocking.

Edit: Huh, I think I just killed them by installing uBlockOrigin on Firefox mobile.

I thought maybe it was just me, too.  After a day or two of that, however, I installed an AdBlock for Samsung Internet, and haven't seen an ad since.
