I thought it was too dangerous to have the game played that late...oh only in E. Lansing. How are we even a primetime matchup? I thought it was supposed to be noon.

This will sound too tinfoil hat-ish for some, but as good and as aggressive as umaa’s PR machine is, they work just as hard — when it’s called for — at making MSU look bad. Last season would’ve been a massive PR positive for K9 and MSU, while a primetime audience this year has a good chance of seeing umaa shred our guys. IMO, there was likely a lot of pressure placed on decision makers to make this a night game instead of a late afternoon start. They’d love to see Booger’s team slap 70 points on us with this audience.

Except they really expected to win last year.

Given the expected slap down of MSU this year a night game makes no sense for the networks.

I doubt they had a say in the game time but you’re right their PR team puts msu to shame
