Eh, I’d rather keep the farming socialism and not have to pay $90 a pound for beef (murder) as the market would inevitably require if it were left to its own devices

Any food.
How about this. I’d rather keep our government funded socialism than have to watch my neighbors starve to death while trying to break down my door to get into my pantry as capitalism on its own would inevitably demand left to its own devices.

Early death will solve some of our problems, however, we could ship the broccoli to where the steers are and use them to make cheeseburgers. Alter all that is what thye do with the surplus field corn.

Re: tOfficial debt/loan relief meltdown thread.
I don’t understand why notoriously progressive farmers can’t get their shit together. Lazy fucks. Â I’m starting to reconsider my support for Biden after this clear surrender to AOC and Bernie just to appease progressives.
About 11,000 farm borrowers delinquent on direct or guaranteed loan payments for 60 days or longer are receiving automatic electronic payments to get them current on their loans. Each farmer with a direct loan received about $52,000 and those with guaranteed loans received about $172,000. The total cost is nearly $600 million. Farmers who received this help will get a letter informing them that their payments have been made and they will remain current until their next annual payment is due in 2023, Vilsack said.
Another $200 million in immediate aid will go to 2,100 farm borrowers whose loans have been foreclosed but who still owe money and had their tax refunds and other resources taken by the U.S. Treasury. The money will give them a fresh start, Vilsack said. The USDA said farmers in this category received an average of $101,000 apiece.

Is eating the rich murder, Trapper? Because I hear a lot of people suggesting a diet of wealthy flesh. Cam might be able to weigh in here, too.

I don't travel in those rarefied circles dude. Haven't heard of killing and eating the wealthy, only the killing and eating of the poor.
Re: tOfficial debt/loan relief meltdown thread.
For example: A local well drilling company applied for Federal assistance when COVID broke. No one expected the residential housing to boom but it did. They never needed it but they got a $500K loan that is being paid off as slowly as legally possible.
A couple of farmers have gotten in excess of $250K each during the Trump administration and are getting more with the latest $1B released for farm aid.
But they are all bent out of shape about people getting $20K to pay off student loan debt.
Funny how that logic works.

When bankruptcy loomed, I decided to work with some bankruptcy experts. They first conducted a thorough assessment of my assets and liabilities. They then helped me restructure my debts, negotiating with creditors for lower interest rates and manageable repayment plans. They even pointed out a few government aids and subsidies I wasn't aware of.
You can learn more at Bankruptcy Law Center. There are a lot of resources that might help in overcoming bankruptcy cases.

However, on the US debt side the deficit is projected to be 1.7 Trillion dollars for FY2023.

https://www.cato.org/briefing-paper/cutting-federal-farm-subsidies#:~:text=The%20federal%20government%20spends%20more,for%20farm%20businesses%20and%20agriculture.&text=Congress%20is%20scheduled%20to%20reauthorize,nearly%20all%20aspects%20of%20farming.
The federal government spends more than $30 billion a year on subsidies for farm businesses and agriculture.1 Congress is scheduled to reauthorize farm programs in 2023, which provides an opportunity to reassess farm policies and reduce taxpayer costs.
The government supports nearly all aspects of farming. It protects farmers from fluctuations in prices and revenues and subsidizes their insurance, land improvements, loans, marketing, research, and export sales. The expansive subsidies are a peculiar policy because farms are no less able to manage risks and plan their finances than businesses in other industries.
Farm subsidies are costly to taxpayers and can distort planting decisions, induce overproduction, and inflate land values. The programs discourage farmers from innovating and cutting costs, and they steer resources to households with incomes much higher than average U.S. incomes.

Missed this, however the last time the student loan system was modified by Congress it was exempted from debt which could be eliminated via bankruptcy, so a bankruptcy is not an option for those with excessive student debt.

Send a bill for $5120 to every person living in the USA and see how that works out. Not to mention that you have to add that to the $100k already owed for past budget deficits.

If GPD growth is higher than the deficit then the percentage of the debt to GDP drops. In FY2023 it increased.

And a good point.
We're paying the "bill" every time we pay 50 grand for a new car, $4 for a loaf of bread, $7 for a chicken sandwich at KFC or 8% for a mortgage,
