Where did the team that knew how to close go? How many damn times they try to give this away? At least 3-4, then Iowa's last possession should have been a 3.

Can't win without Walker, Hall, Hauser or Akins hitting on all cylinders. But this kid has heart. I really like watching this team.

Purdue has had some close games (and wins). It's easy to look at them and think they're not that good. They're not flashy really.

But, Purdue (Big Ten stats) is...

#1 in Scoring Defense
#1 in FT%
#1 Rebounding
#1 Opponent Rebounding
#1 Rebounding Margin (obviously, but their margin is 9.1...the #2 team MSU is 4.3)

Also #1 in the NCAA in Team Total Rebounding % (Rebound Rate) at 58.2%
(MSU is #54 at 52.9%)

I think we can take them. Probably need to shoot 40%+ from 3 though. And Hall didn't play the first game. He's playing inspired.

Good, I think 25 min from Hall is huge. When Lurch hung 30 whatever on them, there was little help defense available... also every o possession just died pre-drive to the paint. I think Hall's help D and being a pressure valve down low will help.

Bad, it's a roadie in the big ten... you assume to lose most.

Why not, I suppose. It's not like msu gets a bunch of calls go there way at home.
