What’s this Sovereign citizen BS?

I’ve seen a few clips of these idiots who don’t carry licenses and don’t acknowledge jurisdiction.

Was at the post office and this doofus tried reusing an envelope with a processed stamp. Worker said he couldn’t and he went in some rant about being a sovereign citizen and he doesn’t accept their rules blah blah blah. Just thought it was funny that a guy who doesn’t believe in government rule was trying to use the post office.

It’s always been a thing. Ruby Ridge types claiming sovereignty. It’s happening in Australia a lot too. I think that Australians are basically Americans without all the guns.

They have a really bad history with black people there too…. Hmmmm.

At least when they had a mass shooting the government reacted correctly and instituted strong gun control, in the late 1990's I think.

Surprisingly strong gun control appears to have almost completely eliminated mass shootings. /s
