His was "valued" at $800,000 at one point. It's currently $175,000.

A little cryptic.

The valuation is based on algorithms using performance (among other things). Maybe that includes the NCAA Tournament. For instance, Joey Hauser's valuation is higher. Tyson Walker's is way lower. So, not an exact measure by any stretch.

Michigan doesn't appear to have boosters dropping $400,000/year like Miami. I could see some other schools getting in the bidding process for him. There's no way his podcast, apparel line, and selling shoes (at UM) comes anywhere near that.

Makes sense that a guy who fancies himself as a business man would want to make the most money.

He's graduating. Maybe he didn't get into grad school at UM. Unlikely, but who knows. They seem to fudge academics a little for football players. Not so much for basketball players.
