WASHINGTON (AP) — Americans can order more free COVID-19 tests online for home delivery.

The U.S. government is offering to send another round of four at-home virus tests ahead of the typical surge in cases during the winter holiday season.

Anyone who did not order a batch of four COVID-19 tests in September can secure up to eight of them this time around starting Monday at COVIDtests.gov. The U.S. Postal Service will deliver them for free.

I think I had it one other time, so I laid around on the couch for a week.. ya know, just in case.

HOLY SHIT!!! I come home tonight and my wife is crying. SHE HAS COVID! Again. Second thanksgiving in a row we had it planned for our house and have to cancel. 21 people. It’s our parents in the 80’s were worried about. Both daughters have places to go. Pretty sure I’m getting this time. We were at Blake’s yesterday holding hands and I kissed the OL bat a couple times. Then we had dinner in an igloo. My test tonight was negative. Both of hers were positive.

Damn DWags, that’s awful news and incredible series of events that resulted in your wife getting COVID two years in a row on Thanksgiving week.

We’re all vaccinated up at our house but your cautionary tale will have me breaking out the masks for shopping trips for the next 3 weeks before and then when we fly to New England for granddaughter’s birthday and holidays.

I'm vaxed as much as one can be, even went out of my way to get both companies vaxines, yet came down with the "vid" three weeks ago, for probably the second time, the first was back in February 2020 after a trip the Seattle, and can't be sure as back in those dark days there were no tests, home or otherwise, and no vaxes, but the symptoms this time were similar but not as severe.

It really sucks, and this second round has me reaching for a kn95 when I go shopping or to a concert.

Hope you get over it quickly DWags, are you taking Praxil?

Had it one time at its peak Jan 22 despite the vax...not fun. Couple vaxxed people at work got it over the last few months, but mild. Vaxxed purchasing manager has had it 4 times so far.

She should get a formal test. Home tests are good but can give false positives.

Wear a KN95 type mask if you are going to be in a crowd is what I will be doing. Sure the "vid" rate is way down but it sucks if you get it, and KN95 masks are pretty effective.
