I grew up five blocks from Lambeau Field. Lynn Dickey was my boy growing up. (Man they sucked back then).

Getting back on topic, if you've never been to Lambeau for a game I strongly suggest you go at least once. Visiting fans are treated very well, assuming you're not an obnoxious asshole, often receiving free food, shots, and beer. Packer fans are proud of what we have and want others to enjoy it when they come as well. I've talked to and gone with other visiting fans many times, and never encountered anyone who didn't have a blast both with the Packer fans and at the game. A gratuitous pic of my buddy who was welcomed into a group that was taking turns bonging.

So they are basically the opposite of Badger fans?

Definitely the Lions fan base IMO. No fan base has endured so much losing yet supports their team 100 percent. Ill be at the game friday. Lower level, 1 row at the 50 yard line like a baller. Bringing my bitch and I will not be wearing a super hero costume

I gave up on the lions and have not followed them 30 years ago. I haven't watched a full game since Barry sanders was the running back. Even then I only watched on thanksgiving because there was nothing else on or to do. I've never gone to see the lions play but one time at the silver dome. I think I was a teenager.

The lions are the worst nfl franchise in America. The fords are the worst owners in America. They don't care about winning. I won't be following the lions this year either.

It is an experience unlike any you've been to at tailgates. Hard to explain to people who haven't been there. Like the Grand Canyon, you know it's cool by pictures and stories but when you get there, it's a whole different level.

I've tried to figure that out many times and am completely stumped by it. In most cases they should be the same people. But Packer games are just a different scene. No less partying and having fun, but open and accommodating. I know UW has been working hard to change that stigma and any negativity from Badger fans.

Confirmed. The guy in my picture above (yes, Mr. Potato Head was taped to the bong for some reason), won't wear Lions gear when he goes because their fans are generally obnoxious, boorish a-holes. I'd rather watch the game at Will's with 800 other packer fans than sit for free in Soldier Field.
