While Michigan's next decent non conference game is 6 years away against the all powerful Washington.

Can't find it now, but I saw some comment by Golson earlier today that (paraphrasing) he's sad the u of m rivalry is coming to an end because it has such storied tradition.

You mean like those years from 1943 to 1977 when they didn't play each other?

Serious trouble? Against ND? Maybe I'm being over-confident but I just don't see it. They've lost so many guys to scandal I can't even name one of their receivers. I think our linebackers are fast enough to keep contain on Golson if he scrambles. I don't know how we'll do on offense but I see this as another 4th Quarter game and everybody knows what happens to them at the ends of games against UM.

Too hard to tell what either team has after playing Rice and App State. I will say though, in the high lights Golson looked pretty damn sharp. I'm not buying that Michigan's running game is back until I see it do it against a team like ND.

Still though dropping Michigan and picking up their arch rival has to sting. To me that's a white glove to the face.

I have no idea what to expect from that game, but Golson running isn't what he does best. He scrambles and keeps his eyes down field. It's impossible for the secondary to cover everyone for 8 or 9 seconds. He has a great knack for finding the open guy. I think it's just a matter of how many big plays he makes when he's flushed from the pocket, and whether they turn into points or not.

How far has scUM fallen when one of their rivals dumps them to strengthen their schedule.
