I know how popular the NBA is with you folks. Season started last night and was pretty eventful. Kobe and Dwight Howard go at it, and Julius Randle break his leg.

Looking forward to watching the Bulls and Cavs battle for the Central Division title (provided Rose plays like the old Rose), but not expecting much the Pistons.

The Pistons have a chance to sneak into the playoffs this year. Bulls, Cavs, Raptors, Wizards are all in; after that it's kind of a crap shoot. Nets, Knicks & Miami; gonna be interesting to see what they do. Hawks & Hornets are probably in though.

15 years ago, if you had said, Bulls, Cavs, Raptors and Wizards were in it, I'd have laughed. Guess the times are changing. Miami will be interesting, and since I live down here, I'll probably follow a little.

Agree. Raptors should win the Atlantic and make the playoffs. Washington should win the Southeast and do the same. Miami is interesting. If the Wade we saw in the Finals is the Wade we see going forward, I am not quick to put the Heat in the playoffs. I also expect Indiana to fall of a cliff. I suppose this does open the door for a team like the Pistons to sneak into the playoffs.

When you put it like that, the East still sucks compared to the West.

I like trying to catch a Warriors game, but they usually start so late that I just can't do it. Utah used to always be competitive, I never liked many of the Texas teams and I've never been a fan of the Lakers. I'll try to watch a game or two, but I usually put on a hockey game if I have the choice. Only a couple of more weeks until College starts!

Warriors are fun to watch. Big expectations for that team this season. I really want to see them in the WC Finals. Some guy in my fantasy league just dropped Draymond so I picked him up. No way he does not bring some added value.

I don't mind the Texas teams. Lots of respect for SA, and I will always love how the Mavs crushed Miami in the Finals. Don't care about Houston either way. Agree on the Lakers. Magic's Lakers were great, but never liked the Shaq/Kobe Lakers through their current line-up.

I guess we have an official thread for this. I know OTPT is a big fan.

I've been watching a lot of NBA due to certain habits/forms of entertainment of mine.

Spurs are killing OKC tonight. They really are a throwback team. They move the ball so well. Would not be surprised if they wind up playing GSW in the Western finals (depending on how the bracket sets up).

Westbrook's athleticism is absolutely insane. He can get to the hole any time he wants. Too bad he can't shoot.

Playoffs are going to be intriguing, at least in the West. I can't see anyone beating Cleveland in the East. Nigel's Hawks included.

NBA has been great this year. 1st year of buying league pass, really glad I did.

Lots of people refer to this as the "pace and space" area. Some really fun teams to watch out there.

KD out for 4-6 months.

Rushed back and now out for the season. Kills any chance OKC had of winning the West.
