Lippett playing both ways

Wasn't paying close attention to the game. Is this a senior thing or something we will see more of?

I noticed that too

He didn't just play a ton of snaps at CB, he played at a high level. Makes me wonder how the Oregon and OSU games might have gone if he could have played like that against them, and still had the offensive production.

Dantonio was asked about it in the postgame show, and his answer was basically "because he (Lippett) can". I'm pretty sure I heard him say "expect to see it at Penn State"

Mentalstate told me they were taking about increasing his draft stock.

I don't think that is the message. They've probably gotten some feedback from scouts for the NFL that he's missing something to be a receiver at the next level. Showing that he can also play CB, opens up to another team that might take a chance on him because if he doesn't work at receiver, they can try him at CB.

Maybe it's like a bonus message. To a recruit that might want to play in a similar role.

Probably should have been playing both ways the whole year. Who knows what would have happened in the Oregon and OSU games
