Big time MSU fan, don't see how it's to my advantage to root for OSU at this point.

As MSU fans we should have pulled for TCU to not be jumped by OSU. TCU and MSU are in that band of football program that if there's an old traditional powerhouse on the outside looking in they are going to get jumped. If you swapped TCU and OSU's records this year then the story today would have been that TCU lost to Virginia Tech and OSU deserved to go ahead.

Steve you are kidding yourself, probably blinded by dislike. If OSU shows up and beats Bama, it's a huge boost to the conference's reputation. If they get stomped than not wanting to see them in is a valid point. Otherwise....you're way, way wrong.

Here's why every Spartan should root against OSU, they are our main competitor in the East and it's in our interest that they get taken to the woodshed by Alabama. If they win then we are going to lose recruiting battles, and it's only going to strengthen Delaney's favoritism of OSU.

I bet Mark Dantonio thinks it would be good for MSU if OSU wins. In fact I would be shocked if someone didn't ask him and he flat out says it. So there's that.

Yeah. He's wrong and I think he knows it. Devil's advocate.

Pulling for Ohio State has little benefit for us, all it does up hold a system where an old power house team on the outside gets to jump a more deserving team.

Next year if a team like MSU is ever in the lead with 1 loss and a team like FSU or Auburn is on the outside looking in then the narrative will be 'well the B10 is down this year with a weak Ohio State'.

I don't think this Buckeyes team has a prayer against Alabama, and not only that I also think both TCU and Baylor would kick their ass.

Fuck the bitcheyes. However I think they have a shot against Obama. Will be watching
