Serious question. What explains the rash of mumps in the NHL? Also, what are mumps? I thought babies got mumps. That would explain why Sidney crosby has mumps, but what about the rest of the NHL? Give me answers.

One apparently needs boosters for mumps into adulthood (who knew? Why does everybody in the NHL have mumps? 2599972566 ). That, combined with the fact locker rooms aren't exactly bastions of hygiene, combine for trouble.
