How long to wait at a doctor appt.

Took the wife in for a checkup today. They scheduled a two minute procedure at 8 am and the actual appt at 9 so we get to sit there for 58 minutes before they usher us back to the exam room, that they keep at 85 degrees btw. 9:45 we're still sitting there with no doctor in sight. I looked at the wife and she said lets go and we walked out the door and left. The doctor was standing in the hallway doing nothing and just watched us leave. I know, cool story bro.

How long do you peeps let doctors waste your time before you give up on them?

I switched doctors because the one I had been going to had an insane wait every single time. My current provider is much more expeditious.

45 minutes with no communication is ridiculous. If I'm waiting 30 minutes with no word, I start looking for someone. Shit happens, schedules get messed up, but communicating is not an option.

Wait times are going to be even worse because we gave all of those poor people insurance. Thanks Obama.

I went looking for the nurse after half an hour, someone else said they'd let her know we're tired of waiting. Another 15 minutes and still no word so we left. Communication is not very high on their priority list. I suppose I'll still get sent a bill for occupying their exam room.
