Great Talent at Michigan in the early 80's. Was on the Joubert team that Skiles told Joubert he had to lose 40 lbs to guard. Skiles lit Michigan up that night for 30, had the 3 pt line been there he woudl have had 55 or more.

Tarpley was in a picture in the Freep once putting gas into his new Bronco all tricked out. Got in trouble in college but back then the newspapers swept that shit under the rug at Michigan and Skiles became headlines. Tarpley was suspended some for either drugs or DUI's in the NBA. That is interesting math - if Skiles had hit 15 buckets for 30 that would have each been worth 3 instead of 2 then he would have scored 45...where would the other 10 points have come from? 4 point shots?

But yeah Skiles scored as many as he wanted against fat boy.

Skiles had 40 n that game. At least ten buckets came from 20 feet out. So call it 50. Amazing for the shortest, slowest guy on the floor.
