Also hired by Narduzzi was is Tim Salem, who, "From 1997-2000, Salem was the quarterbacks coach at Ohio State. In 1998, Joe Germaine was the Big Ten Player of the Year, throwing for 3,330 yards and 25 touchdowns with only seven interceptions in leading the Buckeyes to an 11-1 record and No. 2 ranking in the final polls." Germaine is obviously the guy Hill picked on that last chance play in 1997.

Good for Nardawg! I hope his choices work out well. I would love to see him have some great success at Pitt except when MSU plays them.

"Renaldo" is a solid name.. sort of has a cryptic flair... and inexplicable level of mystifying magic that, when said just right, and possibly followed by an unblinking stare, can strike a certain enigmatic chord in even the most well-grounded individual...

Still pisses me off that he turned upfield to return it instead of running straight out of the end zone for a touchback. Ah, well -- didn't affect the outcome, so....

Nice pickup, Nardawg. I'd kinda hoped he would come to MSU. Maybe later on, after a few years seasoning under Nardawg.
