Another stud who will be playing with a chip on his shoulder, even though he said the right thing about not being anymore motivated over it.

Thomas playing nose on 3rd downs, can't say I remember Nardawg employing a similar formation in the past but I'm sure he probably has. Thanks for the link

I know Dantonio said he's going to try to get McDowell involved, but i'm trying to figure out where he fits in the rotation.

Right now we've got a pretty solid 4-deep at both DE and DT:

DE - Rush, LT
DE - Calhoun, Cooper

DT - Knox, Kittredge
DT - Heath, Clemons

If he's far and away better than one of those guys, then sure. Otherwise it might be beneficial to throw a redshirt on him. I know he's coming in as a DE but I think he would fit in best as a disruptive DT.
