According to The Advocate, an unnamed recruit signed a financial aid agreement with LSU, a separate contract from the National Letter of Intent (NLI or LOI), with plans to enroll at the school in January. That agreement subsequently granted LSU unlimited contact with the recruit, so when the player ultimately decided not to enroll at LSU (instead committing to and signing with Alabama), some of that unlimited contact was deemed a violation

How could teams not use this to their advantage to fuck over another team? In theory, could MSU get a Bullough to get the financial aid from um, then at the last minute when he decides to go to MSU, um is in the middle of violations? I just don't see what LSU did wrong in this circumstance.
