Are you going to Syracuse for the game this Friday?
If so, where'd you get your tickets and do you want to meet up for a beer before the game?

Not sure yet. Would HubStub be the place to snag tickets at this point? If I'm going, I will buy them in the next 24hrs. Do you already have tickets?

Stubhub actually didn't have any, but I'll probably check again later. TicketMaster is apparently where you get them from the NCAA.
I'm seeing if any friends want to go (I'm expecting not, given that none are alums and MSU isn't a nearby school), once I know, I'll be buying tickets.

I can't go anymore. I have to work at 4:30 am on Saturday and by the time the game's done and I get back to Rochester, I'll maybe only get about an hour of sleep for a day of doing manual labor.
Eff the late start time.

Your work needs to get their priorities straight. I might go with or without a ticket.

The late start may work to my advantage, I'm tempted to get a train up there and (S)party all weekend. If Blanch heads out there I'm down.

Wish I could join y'all. If we make it to Indy I might see if I can swing it.

I don't have a choice with this one. It's our family business, and I have to be there to run things (I run it with my two cousins, and we need 2/3 of us there each Saturday) since my cousin is out of town this weekend and my dad won't be around to help out.
I blew my one weekend off every half year on a terrible bachelor party with a bunch of lame-ass Spartans earlier this month. Kicking myself for wasting it on that and mad at my college friends for being such dipshits.

We win Friday and I'll try for Sunday, though. I really want to make it up for one of the games.

Nah, probably about 4,500-5,000 pounds of apples.

It's your family's business? Come on man WTF! Who cares if you drag ass on a Saturday because you went to the State game. It's not like you're going to get fired. How often are you able to see MSU in-person in the regional semi-final and hopefully final??? #Spartanswill

I care if I drag ass on a Saturday. It means a lot to me and my grandparents are counting on me to be there and run things smoothly (my other cousin who is in town is dumb as a rock and would lose us money). Also, with the weather we're getting Friday (lake effect snow), it'll be a longer drive than normal back home (which, having gone to Cuse games before, is not an easy drive) and more of a hassle.
I saw us in Spokane last year, so it's not like I'm averse to going. Maybe I'll call an audible and head to Syracuse for the game on Friday. I'm strongly thinking of it, but that tip-off is so late and I don't want to deal with snow coming in off the lake for that drive at that time of night.
Regardless, I am going Sunday if we win on Friday. I will not miss that for anything in the world.

It sounds like you're a responsible person, my bad. My only question then is why do you hang out here with us degenerates?

Me? Nah. Wouldn't be surprised if my brother were there, though -- he was there last night. And if you're looking for a Spartan to drink with, he's your man. A walking party.

I wish I could. It's pretty much the game and home for me today. My body is still trying to recover from Friday.
