Amazon Prime Now...

Got an email about this last week that it's available in Miami. Today our thermostat died. Dreading a drive to Home Depot during rush hour or later tonight I download the Prime Now app and find this for $25.
+$5 tip (but no delivery charge) & it'll be here between 8 & 10pm.

Some dude just showed up at my house with a delivery from Amazon, I retrieved the package, waving to the UPS guy as he drives off. Opened the box and found a new mailbox. Was like WTF? Suddenly, I hear a noise and look outside and some random dude runs into my mailbox. Amazon Prime Then is awesome.

That's pretty damn cool, I wish we had it here.
FWIW, the FAA just approved Amazon's Drone Delivery program. I read something on it last night, and the Amazon rep who runs the program says it's "coming soon, very soon...".

I'm guessing it's only for the downtown area. I haven't seen the email and live in Kendall.

You have to order through the app? That's what my email says. Why can't you order on the website or am I misunderstanding?

Have to go through the app. Guess that's how they filter to only the Prime Now eligible items.

I have the exact same thermostat! LOL
Only complaint is that it goes through batteries quicker than my old one did.
