Louisville or NC State?

Yeah I know the only game that really matters is the one after, but I would like to know who to pull for just in case MSU wins.
I don't know much about either, but get the impression NCST is a tougher matchup. But then you have the Pitino factor.

I'd like to get the rubber match with Louisville.

I will generally pull for the lower seeded team to win, as seeds are based on an entire seasons worth of play, so theoretically that's going to be the easier team to beat. Theoretically being the operative word.

I think I am going with that, although the seeds might not always reflect the current strength of the teams as evidenced by MSU being a 1.5 point favorite. But Louisville is also a 2.5 point favorite.

I would say whatever team struggles offensively the most. Izzo historically has wrecked teams like that and finds enough offense to pull out a victory.
