I have always been an Andy Provesano fan. I rarely watch but he knows his shit. It is one thing to get some stats but sometimes I want some real insight.

I prefer weather on the tube. More local info and I like seeing what type of system or front is moving in.

They promote having the weather because that is why most people watch local news. It keeps them tuned in. Also, if you notice, they hardly ever do the entire weather forecast at 11:02. They review the day and give you overnight details but then have to stay tuned until the last 5 minutes to get the whole forecast.

this is true.. especially the small market stuff.

locally here, WLNS does a nice job, however - though Fred "America's Largest" Huemann is obnoxious and doesn't seem to really know anything. I prefer to switch it over to WILX and Tim Staudt for sports.
