I rode an airport shuttle with Carl after they won a Super Bowl, he was sporting his ring. Had to say hi and ask for a look at the ring. He was very gracious about letting me see it. Reinforced all my beliefs about what good people most Spartans are.

He lived in my dorm -- or vice versa, I guess -- so we crossed paths in the cafeteria every now and again. Very quiet guy, not really interested in people who were interested in his celebrity.

Here's another for you - find a #46. No current player is listed as wearing it and I went through Floyd's media guide (last post on page 1) and didn't recognize ANY of the few player's listed as wearing it. Compared to some numbers that have 5-6 worthy candidates we need to start issuing #46 more often.

I don't fuckin know, man, I gotta graduate after these last 6 credits that end in August. Then I'm probably moving out of state. I'm still interested, obviously, just would feel a lot more excited if I was going back to campus.

I don't know if they still do this, but for two years after I graduated I was able to purchase season tickets at the student ticket rate. You should take advantage of that.
