New Nebraska alt uniforms

It's OK, but the whole crazy alternate uniform thing has become so played out. Does this really impress anybody?

Also nice adidas fail by the GO BIG RE (no D) in the background.

I would think the players are the ones who like it. Who really wants to only wear Red and White or Blue and White, or Green and White, or Piss and Water, when all the other kids are getting awesome new colors and designs on their uniforms? Some of it might be played out, but it isn't for the fan.
Two ways of looking at it. 1) Business decision by Nike, Addidas and UA. I think any of those companies are putting more money into programs than most donar's. Those companies get to have 'Nike Alternate MSU uniforms' and their name is out there.
2) These guys are still mostly teenagers that will like the uniforms. What 15 or 16 year old really gives a shit about tradition? All they care about is fast cars and faster women, and the best way to get both of those is by getting into the NFL. They like flashy things, and want to wear something that is unique to that year.
