Not 1 media member out of 40 picked MSU to win the 2015 Big Ten title

In what serves as the most official prediction of the Big Ten season, since the conference itself stopped gathering votes and producing a preseason poll in 2011, all 40 voters in our cleveland.com poll picked the Buckeyes as conference champs.

Here are the overall predicted rankings in the divisions, with point totals and first-place votes.

EAST

Ohio State should be favored, but it's crazy that not even one media member thinks we could win the Big Ten.

Also, at this point where is the national love for Wisconsin? What else do they have to do to be considered a big time CFB program?

TBH, the only chance we would have is from Joe, but he is so scared of being labelled a homer, that he sometimes tries too hard to be objective. If um would have had the type of years we have had, and the returning cast that we have, they would have gotten 10-15 votes, and no one in the Detroit media would have picked O$U.

I'm not surprised at all. If OSU played in East Lansing this season, I'm guessing that MSU would have gotten a few votes.

But OSU will rightfully be preseason #1, and State has to go to the Shoe. Anyone not wearing green glasses making predictions should pick the Buckeyes to win the division and conference.

Win something that matters? They kinda blew it when they lost 3 Rose Bowls in a row. It also doesn't help they are on their third coach in 4 or 5 years. I think their biggest issue is perception of being on the weak side of the B1G which is still fighting for more respect. MSU and OSU have respect, but not many other teams do.

They don't deserve national love. They lost 3 straight Rose Bowls and lost 59-0 in the B1G championship.

I am surprised that it's zero. The media has too much groupthink these days. A case of Ohio State having controversy over having too many QBs could easily be made.

I'm not. They should get every vote. They probably have the most NFL players in the country, and Braxton Miller just moved to WR. JT Barrett is probably the best QB in the country, and State has to play them on the road. As the season progresses, maybe State turns into the favorite going into the game, but as of right now, you would have to be crazy to pick against OSU.
