What would you do ?

This is like a TV show or something. I'm drink. ..any who

My wife ordered a bunch of overpriced outdoor furniture. It was delivered and THEN she started reading reviews. Apparently people complained about cushions not staying on the furniture. So she decides she wants to return it and we just have to pay the shipping costs of $300.

They tell her they will call to schedule a pickup of the furniture. 2 days later we see the credit for the return on our CC. They have not called to schedule the pickup so we wait a week maybe two. We don't hear from them so we call back and they say the same thing. They will call us to pick it up. This was now 2 months ago. Still no charge on our card, no call, no email and we know they have our correct info because they used it to deliver.

So..what would you do ? What if we set it all up (it hasn't left the shrink wrap or boxes) and then they finally catch it and wont accept the return ?

Send them legal notice that they have 30 days to recover their property or their failure to do so will result in their voluntary forfeiture of such asssets.

I would call my credit card company and tell them it was a fraudulent charge. Fuck them damn furniture selling mother fuckers.

Why not use it? Just cancel your credit card, move to a different house, and disconnect your phone line.

I mean, even that wouldn't be as ludicrous as buying something without reading the reviews first.

This happened to my friend that had a mattress delivered. They refunded his cash and never picked up the item.

I think it's pretty much your stuff now for free. I'd either sell it or use it.
