Maybe 247 will hire both of you to improve their message boards, since this one is better already.

The decision not to re-invent the wheel is working out to be a good one, who would have ever guessed. And Heat has put in a lot more time than I have so far. GreenMachine and Osmo have also volunteered. Great community and support.

Not only has it been fun in the first few days of it's existence, but it really speaks to your ingenuity and work ethic when you can put together such a highly entertaining and seamlessly functional message board for Spartans in such a harmonious and coherent fashion.

Ghost the answer is plenty. At one point trcmb was the largest non porn sports msg board after soccer matches or whatever they are called. Really incredible considering our lack of football success til now

Both heat and see rock are to be commended. Right now there isn't much happening in spartan sports. Can we link articles or is that a non no?

Serious question - how much time have you spent on this so far? I'm kind of shocked at how feature rich it is compared to tRCMB. I knew 247 made a lot of excuses and dragged their heels, but DAMN, this place should embarrass them.

it does embarrass them.. the question is whether or not they notice it.

247 can't even count how many people viewed a thread let alone organize the front page by most recent post.

Everytime I come over here I find new features! We've been waiting for some basic 2008 level functionality from 247 for years. It's not that my life is incomplete without humping ferret icons or whatnot, but it really goes to show how little 247 care about their user base.

And I'm sure there would be more than one who would look down haughtily upon me, point a gnarled finger, and proclaim, "Yes, but who are you to judge? You were not a paid member!" and that is true. But then again, they never gave me reason to be, either.

Anyway, nice work. Keep kicking ass guys!
