Traveling for holidays is bullshit

Everything is so expensive, nothing happens when it's supposed to and I'm missing all the parts I like about Christmas. Currently wedged into a middle seat for a three hour flight. I'm 6'3. This isn't working for me

Are ears really part of your face? Your head certainly. But I feel like that's like including your hair as part of your face. It most definitely is not.

I have eyes a nose and a mouth on not only the front of my face but the left and right side, too. It's a rare disorder. It's kinda cool though because I can literally speak out of both sides of my mouth.

Nah, I'm good. I bolted from the extended family Christmas Eve party a skooch early. But I'm staring down the barrel of four straight days of family time. Gotta make sure we don't get totally sick of each other.

Heading to good ole Lansing Cap City Airport in about half an hour.  Hate traveling this time of year.  Bunch of fuckin amateurs.  At least I'm in the big seats for the second leg of my trip.  As long as I don't get detained for choking somebody in the TSA or boarding lines that doesn't know what the fuck they're doing.

So, of course the Sky Club by my gate is closed today.  Not like there's a shit ton of people traveling today.   Not going all the way back to the club by A38.  Just gonna sit outside the door and use their internet.  Should be humming since I'm the only one on it.

I agree with the OP. I have to walk across the street to my neighbor's house soon. Fucking bullshit.

For the first time ever, we're not going anywhere for Christmas!  The kids are home and the rest of the family is doing their own thing.  Finally!  We get to have our own Christmas!  It's nice and relaxing.  There will be a family party on Sunday, but having Christmas Eve and day without running around is nice.

Had to catch a train out of penn station with the wife. Place was a zoo, loaded with bums and crowds. It was super stressful walking through a sold out train with all of our luggage trying to find a seat together. Also like you said we experienced a lot of delays. I hate traveling on the holidays.

This by far has been the quietest Xmas in my life.  Kids are all grown, some live out of state, and the ones who live nearby wanted to stay at their homes with their kids.  We did have Xmas with everyone at Thanksgiving because that was when everyone could get together, so it wasn't like we didn't have a Xmas.  It was just at Thanksgiving instead.

But for today, it was just the wife and me.  The weather was so nice we took the dog to the park in Williamston and took the leash off so he could run.  Grilled steaks for dinner and lit the fireplace up tonite.  Kinda nice actually.

First of all, if he doesn't get to keeping the Christ in Christmas then I'm going to spaz the fuck out on that mother fucker.

Second, why do we call it xmas? Seems like a weird way of shortening it. I suggest cmas. Or Christmas. Because Christmas isn't really all that hard to say anyway.

I traveled all the way downstairs and put salt in the water softener today. It was a real pain the ass.
