The Owen J. Roberts High School science teacher had become obsessed with one of her former students, and wanted desperately to communicate with him. “Whatever you do, please don’t shut me out,” she said in a text message sent in March. “I’m begging you.”

To keep from being discovered, she bought a ‘burner’ cellphone that would be used solely to pass texts and make phone calls to the 16-year-old.

“I thought I was being smart,” Bonkoski later told a Pennsylvania state trooper who assisted the Chester County Detectives investigating the complaint of harassment against her. She did not think the phone could be traced back to her — though it took investigators only a short period of time to trace the T-Mobile account to her, and discover that the calls she placed to the teenager came mostly from near her home and the school, according to an arrest affidavit.

Chemistry professor Aimee Palmitessa, 45, was arrested on Friday morning and booked in on felony charges at the city’s Metropolitan Detention Center, DailyMail.com can disclose.

Former substitute teacher arraigned on sex charges involving student

MASON - A former substitute teacher and soccer coach at Stockbridge High School was arraigned this morning on charges that she sexually assaulted a student in April.

Allyson Brittany Moran, 26, was arrested Thursday in Illinois and waived extradition to Michigan on Friday, Michigan State Police said.

She faces three felony counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a student and one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree criminal sexual involving a student.

Moran was released from custody after posting 10% of the $7,500 bond set by a 55th District Court magistrate.

Most of the time when you asked “what changed since the 70s-80s” the answer is going to be “the internet.” It’s like people like to forget just how massive of an impact that makes on everyone’s daily life.

Anyway. On one hand there’s what ic said above. On the other, back then if the random teacher in Texas even got caught without the internet, then you didn’t hear about it without the unlimited access to information that you have now.

Ha, when I was a sophomore, my buddy who was a junior was hitting it with our French teacher. 1978. When he graduated, he went to uofM, she went and got her masters at UofM. they got married. Everyone knew it. Nobody ratted it out. Or even if the teachers knew it, they weren't saying anything.
