V.I.P Breaking!! -- Gigi's Cupcakes opens shop in East Lansing

East Lansing -- Gigi's cupcakes, a maker of cupcakes, has opened a retail outlet in East Lansing.  Patrons seeking something that tastes like cake, but need it delivered in a convenient and portable format can now have their cake and eat it too.  There is frosting on the cupcakes in some cases.  

"Cupcakes are good," said one future customer, while others are not so sure.

Sales are expected to grow steadily, fluctuate in and out, then peak right about the time Furman comes to town for the home opener this fall.
