Nicely done.

I've been a Spartan for a lot longer then a lot of you mother fuckers. I've suffered a ton of Spartan football. I tell everybody this and they think I'm either full of shit, or believe me. But this program is different. It just is. I coached football camps for Perles, Saban and Bobby. I worked with Dantonio there, but I don't think I could work a camp now. These people are serious. They are professional, and they are serious about their craft. This is different at MSU. It just is. I really don't think that last season will matter to these guys on this team, As a matter of fact, I bet the 7-6 season will mean more to them then last year does. I really believe that our staff is a forward looking staff and understands that the journey is always more important then the results. but that they want to get better every play, every series, every game, every day. I love the part in the film where Narduzzi says "Nobody on this defense has impressed me yet". He's not joking. It's a great 21 minute look. And at the end when Dennard gets drafted and you see the family he came from and how down to earth he is, you understand that Dantonio selects these kids based on character.

I'm a Spartan for 34 years now. It's different. I'm telling you it just is.

Really great episode. Drummond and T. Jones are really taking responsibility of this defense. Cook and Langford should take a big step up.

Darqueze is a class act. All-time Spartan great when all is said and done.

Interesting to hear Narduzzi say the second CB position is between Hicks and Colquhoun right now with Robinson and Edmonson behind them. I thought both Ezra and Jermaine looked pretty damn good during the spring game so that's pretty encouraging to hear about Colquhoun. Have to love his size being the biggest CB on the roster (6'1, 193) and he supposedly ran a 4.42 at one of MSU's camps a couple of years ago.

He's been injured for the last couple spring games (Colquhoun I mean). I think Robinson and Hicks are fighting for that #2 spot now. Hicks probably with the slight upper hand.

These things are cool because you get to hear players talk that you wouldn't normally hear from. Darrien Harris seems like a very bright kid. Same with Drummond.

Love how Narduzzi never gets complacent. Says the defense is nowhere close to where it should be, but they'll get there. But Narduzzi's idea of "not good" is probably the casual fan's idea of "fucking awesome."
