Top 8 protected this year. If somebody slated below jumps into the top 3 then the pick is gone. Thankfully the Pistons decided to win a few late games so they could be right on the edge in the deepest draft in a while

The Pistons going 3-10 over their last 13 games did not effect their draft position as both LA Lakers and Sacremento both had about the same records over their last month or so.

Exactly. It's not like the Pistons won 8 of their last 10 games and passed a few teams with a better record. Most of the bottom 10 teams in the league were losing at a similar rate over the last month and a half of the season.

I agree, unfortunately the Pistons took KCP last season so I would be surprised if they went with a SG. I'd be fine with Marcus Smart running point. I really hope there is a stud SF that falls to us at 8 if we do keep the pick.
