Because people used the word "tweener" too much, and because nobody paid attention to how much Day-Day improved every season at MSU. Pretty much. According to this guy, anyway.

Sports execs are as subject to inbreeding as managers are. Very few have any vision beyond recognizing how the game is currently played.
