How Will The Media/Trump Campaign Lower the Bar Relative to Debate Performance?

I suspect that suddenly the Trump campaign will start extolling the virtue of Hillary Clinton, her education, her 30+ years as a public servant, etc - and suggest that there is just absolutely no way that someone like Trump could ever rise to her lofty status on the debate stage..

how he hasn't even really prepared for the debate because he knows he's really going up against a well-rehearsed professional.. how he's going to just show up and articulate his views the best he can in light of his opponent's clear advantage..

and, of course, if he manages to get through the debate without drooling on himself, the media will declare him the winner while parroting all of the predetermined talking-points and narratives.
