Just saw the movie "The VVitch" last night.

Use a mashup old english type puritanical language, and the premis was this family gets banished from a puritan community struggles to get a farmstead going, and weird stuff starts happening.  

I really liked it, but it seems to be a very polarizing film.  Some love it, others hate it with fire.  Anyone seen it?  What did you think?

I saw it was on Netflix or Amazon Prime but thought it looked dumb. Might check it out.

Watching this now. Different, that's for sure. Solid.

I don't know what to think, really. Solid film. The characters were decent, feel like the plot had a lot more potential and kind of plateaued early. That's what she said? Anyways - it was entertaining and got many eerie/creepy vibes from it.

Oh, if I could have understood the characters' dialogue, that would have helped immensely.

Thick accent. Mumbled a ton and they talk like well - they're from the 1600s. I may watch again with subtitles lol.
