I already read the article. Looks like you were having a bad day. There's absulutely no mention of the woman who works at the museum pulling the statue down because she's a supporter of HRC. She's quoted as saying it's obscene and she shouldn't have to look at it right across from where she works. If we're going to make blanket generalizations, I'd say that sounds much more like one of those uptight Conservative women than a Lib, and certainly not a Leftist, who would've supported Bernie and still hates Clinton.

As for the woman in the hijab, based on that description alone, one could also infer she's orthodox, which has religious beliefs rooted much more in alignment with the platform of the GOP.

Extremes on both sides will move towards a more aggressive position when they aren't being heard and have a history of doing do. Leftists extremes have notoriously done so and it's why I love it. Nobody was hurt though, so it's hard to call it violent.
