Tom Herman will be just fine. Even with his team's loss to Navy and then to SMU and needing Navy to lose 3 times to get Houston into the conference championship game. He got even better than fine when Texas lost and the cries for Charlie Strong to go got louder.

The biggest losers at Houston are the major donors who have ponied up millions to improve the stadium, facilities and hire Herman because this week they found out they're on the outside looking to join the Big 12.

Herman is good as gone. He won't get that $5 mil bonus for joining the Big 12 any time soon.
