We are going to see how many true believers Trump appoints to his cabinet. He could appoint a special prosecutor, have it go nowhere like the Benghazi hearings to placate the masses. That will endear the GOP to their electorate for the midterms, call it a day wth 18 months left in the first term and start the re-election campaign.

I don't see the mess. We could trim 100 billion off our Military Budget for healthcare, another 100 billion for education, another 100 billions for alternative fuel sources and still have a higher military budget than any another other country in the world by over 120 billion.

This could be an early test of how he plans to use executive power.

The Ethics in Government Act, passed in the late 1970s following Watergate and Nixon's appointment of a special prosecutor, more-or-less makes this the AG's call. From there, there are options for the AG to involve Congress.
